For 2007, the Toyota Tacoma sees minimal changes.  Front seats are upgraded and the dash undergoes moderate revision.  This is one of just six Tacoma models that is available with both a V-6 engine and 4WD.  The Double Cab is the largest cabin layout offered on the Tacoma, with four full doors and seating for five.
The Tacoma's V-6 is 4.0 liter DOHC engine, which generates 236 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque.  On this model, it is  available with a five speed automatic or six speed manual transmission.  The V-6 also benefits from the TRD-inspired Variable Valve Timing + intelligence system, which governs the intake camshaft actions for a variety of gains.  An engine equipped with VVT will generate more power, achieve better fuel efficiency, and lower its emissions.   
All 4x4 Tacomas utilize Toyota's 4WDemand system: a part-time 4-wheel drive system with a two speed electronically controlled transfer case.  All V-6 models are available with a towing package, adding a Class-4 towing hitch and a heavy-duty battery.  The 4x4 V-6 Double Cab Tacoma is also offered with a longer bed.
