2007 Lincoln Town Car Designer Series

The Designer Series trim gussies up an already beautiful luxury car with some added touches for the discerning driver. Some of these bonuses are inside for your pleasure, and some are on the outside for all to see.
On the exterior you'll get 17-inch chromed-aluminum wheels, an upgrade from the machined aluminum on the Signature trims. Inside, all occupants will enjoy the Provence leather seating surfaces (with heaters for driver and front passenger) and the Audiophile Dual Media Sound System with 6-CD in-dash changer plus a subwoofer.
Buyers in states that have adopted California Emissions standards (Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont, and of course California) will get a gasoline-burning 4.6-liter SOHC engine with the power of 239 horses. In the other states you'll get the same size engine in a flexible-fuel incarnation, as Lincoln is making it standard this year in the states that allow it. Pair that with the 4-speed automatic tranny with overdrive and you'll get about 17 city miles and 25 highway miles to the gallon.
Safety features run the gamut from air bags and ABS to traction control and protective side door-beams. The power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes come with a memory feature, also found on the accelerator pedal.
The wood and leather steering wheel features secondary controls for cruise, climate, and audio, and the trunk features a convenient power open and close lid; you can also opt for the available trunk organizer. The other options are the popular navigation system, all-season whitewall tires, and high-intensity gas-discharged headlights.
