The engine on the 2002 RSX Type S is a 2.0-liter I4 rated at 200 horsepower and 143 lb-ft of torque. All this power does not come at too much of a cost gasoline-wise: estimated gas mileage is 24 city/31 highway.  The Type S is available only as a 6-speed manual overdrive, which may help mileage even further if the driver can master the gears properly.

The 2002 RSX Type S has received many kudos for its excellent handling and acceleration.  Some have panned the low-quality radio and leather.  For the most part, drivers seem very happy with the replacement for the popular Integra.
