All-new for 2007, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster adds a more powerful engine and aerodynamic restyling for a quicker, stronger, more exciting ride. Aside from its removable soft-top, the 2-door convertible is much the same as the LP640 coupe. It has the new 6.5-liter, 640-hp V12 mid-mounted engine and 6-speed manual or optional E-gear transmission. Adjustable rear spoiler, self-adjusting side scoops, and sleeker front and rear ends help improve road handling and increase speed. ABS brakes and all-wheel drive are standard, as are front airbags.
Gull-wing doors provide you access into what is supposedly more legroom in the 2007 Murcielago LP640 Roadster. Supportive leather seats keep you gripped behind the wheel, and it's complemented by similar leather trim. Power features are standard. A glass engine cover and ceramic brakes (for longer-lasting and more responsive brake performance) are options. The soft top must be manually removed and stored in the trunk. Lamborghini warns not to drive above 100 mph with the top up, in case the ill-secured top falls off.
