2001 Land Rover Range Rover 4.6 HSE Summary
The HSE is pricier of the two 2001 Range Rover variants, but little sets the two apart. Both the SE and HSE are now powered by the 4.6 liter V-8, and are supplied with 222 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. The 5000 pound luxury SUV will tow 6500 pounds, and offer mixed driving averages around 14 mpg.
A standard navigation system sets the HSE apart from the SE. Features are otherwise identical. Both come equipped with leather upholstery, steering wheel audio controls, dual-zone automatic climate control, power front seats with memory, keyless entry, full power accessories, a moon roof, a premium harmon/kardon audio system with a CD changer, wood interior trim and heated mirrors. Safety features include ABS, traction control, front side airbags and an anti-theft system.
