A 4.0-liter V6 delivers 216-hp and 269 lb-ft of torque in the 2006 Land Rover LR3 V6. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic with manual mode. Full-time all-wheel drive combines with a locking center differential, electronic transfer case, fully independent double wishbone suspension and adjustable air suspension. A locking rear differential is optional. The Terrain Response System chooses between five settings to adjust ride height, gearing, and traction control with the 18-inch wheels and all-season tires. Other standard features include ABS brakes, stability control, Hill Descent, electronic brakeforce distribution, and dual front-side airbags. Side curtain bags for all rows are extra.
The 2006 LR3 V6 comes with full power features, including power front seats. Second row seats fold flat, opening up the 44 cubic foot cargo area to 90 cubic feet. An optional third row seat cuts the cargo area to 9 cubic feet, but also folds flat. A roof rack is included, along with a cargo cover. The rear window opens separately from the tailgate, like a clam shell. Heated leather seats, a power or fixed sunroof, satellite radio, rear climate control, and upgraded audio system are available as options.
