The 3.0 liter sedan is the upper tier for the new Jaguar X-Type. This model upgrades to a 3.0 liter DOHC V-6, which generates 227 horsepower and 209 pound-feet of torque. Jaguar claims a 0 to 60 mark of 7.1 seconds, and fuel economy is estimated at 18/25 mpg. This AWD sedan come standard with a five-speed automatic transmission, but the five-speed manual is available as a no-cost option.
Features are about the same for both models, with the primary difference being the size of the V-6. The X-Type sedans are eligible for lots of extras, which is atypical for Jaguar.
