Toyota's Limited trim is available on all Double Cab and Crew Max models. Limited is the highest trim level available, adding many features like a premium JBL sound system, sliding rear window with tinted glass, power seats, auto-dimming mirrors, and an anti-theft system. Limited Tundra models can also include DVD-based navigation system, but the Double Cab layout cannot accommodate the rear seat DVD entertainment system.
Luxury features are nice but this is a pickup truck right? Look under the hood. Toyota has dropped in a new all aluminum engine which makes this the most powerful Tundra ever. The 5.7 liter V-8 provides 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque, and it is also mated to a new six speed automatic. Toyota will use a new engine technology found in many Lexus models: Dual Variable Valve Timing + intelligence. VVT-i regulates the relationship between the intake and exhaust camshafts and the camshaft drive. The result is lower emissions, improved fuel economy, and somehow...more power.
The addition of the 5.7 liter VVT-i V-8 creates a 5000+ pound that speeds from 0 to 0 in under seven seconds, while averaging almost 20 mpg in mixed driving, and earning the ULEV II low emissions rating. That's intelligence. This Tundra can also tow over 10,000 pounds if a special towing option package is added.
