2007 Toyota Tundra 4X4 Limited Crew Max 5-Speed

Thanks to a myriad of options for trim levels, cab size, engines, and drivetrains, the 2007 Tundra can be found in over thirty variations.  This model may be the ideal for luxury and spaciousness.  The Crew Max cab layout offers four doors and a full back seat.  Add the upscale Limited trim and many once optional features now become standard.  They include an anti-theft system, auto-dimming mirrors, power front seats, and 18-inch alloy wheels.  Options like Bluetooth, a DVD-based navigation system, and rear seat DVD entertainment are all available.
The only way to improve upon this model is the additional of Toyota's new 5.7 liter V-8 with VVT-i.  In this case, a 4.7 liter V-8, carried over from 2006, will supply the power.  While this smaller engine version is more affordable, fuel economy gains will be marginal due to the absence of VVT.  The 4.7 liter V-8 generates a sufficient 271 horsepower and 313 pound feet of torque.  Towing capacity is 7700 pounds.  The V-8 is teamed with a five speed automatic transmission, and the 5.7 liter adds a new six speed version.
This Tundra will present more like a luxury SUV than a true pickup, with the Crew Max cab will sacrificing bed length.   Therefore it will not be as functional as some of its longer bed counterparts.  However, it will certainly be just as capable.  The Crew Max has over ten inches of ground clearance and an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case, as part Toyota's 4WDemand system.  A wider track will also add stability on the road.
