Toyota will offer several versions of the Double Cab Tundra, with varied engines, transmissions, bed lengths, and trim packages. The Limited trim adds several luxury features and option availability, bringing this version to the higher end of the price range. Options include a premium JBL audio system, a DVD-based navigation system, rear seat DVD entertainment system, auto-dimming mirrors, Bluetooth, rear backup camera, and a power moon roof.
A 4.7 liter V-8 powers this Tundra, with 271 horsepower and 313 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a five speed automatic transmission as the only available drivetrain. All 4x4 Tundras are also equipped with Toyota's 4WDemand system, which includes an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case. This Tundra is also available as a 4x2.
The Tundra is all new for 2007, returning for its second generation with a substantial size increase. Interior and cargo space both benefit from increases of ten inches in length, five inches in width, and six inches in height. The addition of fender flares give the truck a bolder look. Aside from added space, the interior layout remains mostly unaltered.
