2006 Chrysler Town & Country Limited

The 2006 Chrysler Town & Country is carried over from the previous model year, but there are a few safety upgrades.  The side-curtain airbag design has been improved, and the roof has been strengthened.  This upscale Limited model costs $15,000 more new than the entry-level Town & Country minivan.

The third tier Touring trim is a significant upgrade over the lower Base and LX models, and the Limited is an equal upgrade beyond the Touring.  All lower level standard features are here, like power heated mirrors, dual power-sliding doors, a power rear liftgate, three-zone climate control, a power driver's seat and alloy wheels.  Exclusive Limited features include  a premium Infinity sound system with an in-dash CD/DVD changer, a memory function for the driver's seat, an automatic climate control function and a navigation system.  A rear seat DVD entertainment system remains optional.

Chrysler's "Stow 'N Go" seating offers a total of 144 cubic feet of cargo space, with 32.5 cubic feet for luggage, without the seats folded.  Second and third row seats fold flat into floor-level storage compartments.

The Limited Town & Country houses a newer 3.8 liter DOHC V-6 engine, which produces 200 horsepower and 235 pound-feet of torque. A four- speed automatic is the only available transmission. Models equipped with the 3.8 liter V-6 can tow 3500 pounds.
