2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring Summary

The 2006 Chrysler Sebring sedan is available in four variations, with this Touring trim positioned at the second tier with respect to pricing and features.  The Sebring is comparatively affordable verses other mid-size sedans, but many reviewers have commented that the Sebring is still too Cirrus-like to keep up with new competitors.  The Sebring received a light face lift in 2004, but an all new model would not appear until 2007.

The Touring sedan houses the larger of two available engines: a 2.7 liter DOHC V-6.  This engine produces  200 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque, and is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.  An aerodynamic build and a light 3300 pound curb weight lead to very economical gas mileage, at 21/28 mpg.

The Touring trim is similar to the Base Sebring with respect to features, with the primary difference being the larger engine.  The Touring comes equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, 16-inch alloy wheels, a CD audio system, and full power accessories.
