Chrysler's Sebring Convertible would not survive the model's full redesign in 2007, and the second generation Sebring is offered only as a sedan. The Eclipse-based coupe was discontinued after 2005.
Four variations are available for this final year of production: Base, Touring, Limited and GTC. The GTC is priced between the Base and Touring models, and is differentiated from the other convertibles by stiffer suspension. Standard features include cruise control, a power top, a CD audio system, and power accessories.
The GTC Convertible gets its power from a 2.7 liter DOHC V-6, which provides 200 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. There is no manual transmission availability with this sporty trim; all Sebring models use a four speed automatic transmission.
The Sebring has been well-received by consumers with respect to value, handling, and features. However, many have encountered roof leaks and build quality issues.
