The Chrysler Pacifica crossover SUV entered its third year of production in 2006, with some light exterior styling revisions. The Pacifica is equipped and trimmed similar to the Town & Country minivan, which shares its platform.
Like many other Chrysler models, Pacifica's mid-level trim is the Touring. This finish includes a third row of seating, second row captain's chairs, a power driver's seat, automatic climate control, and larger 17-inch wheels. Base features like keyless entry, full power accessories, cruise control, and a CD audio system are all here as well. The Touring is eligible for several options like Sirius and a rear seat DVD entertainment system, but some options are reserved exclusively for the Limited.
The Touring Pacifica uses a 3.5 liter DOHC V-6, sending power to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. This engine delivers 250 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, which is enough power to tow about 3500 pounds. The Pacifica receives an EPA rating of 17/23 mpg.
