2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution RS Summary

The 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution RS was the entry-level trim package for the four-door sport sedan. It received a slight increase in power for the 2006 model year, to 286 horsepower, an increase of 10 hp over the previous year's model. All that power was courtesy of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with variable value timing.

The Lancer Evolution RS was equipped with a five-speed manual overdrive transmission and four-wheel drive.

Other features included air conditioning, Recaro front sport seats, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, power exterior mirrors, dual front airbags, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
