The 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera S sports coupe improves on the standard 911 Carrera with a more powerful engine. Instead of a 3.6-liter engine, the Carrera S was equipped with a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that produced 355 horsepower. The engine drove the Carrera S from 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds when equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, and 5.0 seconds with a Tiptronic S automatic/manual transmission.
Features for the 911 Carrera S included driver and passenger seats with power backrests and integrated airbags, as well as a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated exterior mirrors, footwell lighting, automatic climate control, and a Porsche Communication Management system with a 5.8-inch color display, in-dash CD player and nine speakers. Anti-lock brakes, an alarm system with interior radar surveillance, ventilated brake discs and Bi-Xenon lights are also part of the package.
