The Porsche 911 Carrera two-door sports coupe is powered by a 3.6-liter, 325-horspower, flat six-cylinder engine with VarioCam Plus, which continually adjusts valve timing for optimal performance. Like all 911 engines, it's located in the rear of the vehicle.
The 911 Carrera is available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a Tiptronic S automatic/manual transmission. With the manual transmission, the 911 Carrera can travel from 0 to 60 in 4.8 seconds. That rises to 5.2 seconds with the Tiptronic transmission.
Features of the 911 Carrera include driver and passenger seats with power backrests and integrated airbags, as well as a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated exterior mirrors, footwell lighting, air conditioning, and a Porsche Communication Management system with an in-dash CD player and nine speakers. Anti-lock braking, an alarm system with interior radar surveillance, side impact protection, and ventilated brake discs are also part of the package.
