Representing the base model, the 2007 Nissan Titan King Cab XE 4X4 is a four-wheel drive full-size pickup that's geared toward hauling and utilitarian needs.  As such, it comes with few standard comfort features.  Cruise control, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, a CD player, and defogger are about as luxurious as it gets.  Instead, this monster focuses on a 9500-lb towing capacity with its 5.6-liter, 317-hp V8 with 385 lb-ft of torque.  A 5-speed auto/manual transmission is standard.  
The part-time 4WD features low-end gearing to better tackle truly rough or unpaved roads. Inside the cab are two rows of seats, with the option of fitting six people when you configure the 40/20/40 split-fold front bench.  When there are only two people up front,the middle backseat can be turned down to create an armrest. Rear doors swing back nearly 180 degrees for easy access.  ABS brakes, dual front airbags, a tire monitor, side door impact beam, and skid plates are some standard safety features.  Unlike the King Cab XE 4X2, the 4WD version also has traction control.  An upgraded audio system, splash guards, and satellite radio are extras.  So is a convenient towing package and a sprayed-in bedliner and bed extension.
