2007 Nissan Pathfinder SE Off Road 4X4 Summary
For those who actually buy an SUV to take off-road (you know you're out there), the 2007 Nissan Pathfinder SE Off-Road is made for you. Only available in 4WD, the Off-Road features high-low gearing, but also comes with Hill Descent Control to help prevent brake wear while going downhill. It also comes with larger skid plates and stronger shocks and step rails. A 4.0-liter, 266-hp DOHC V6 powers the 2007 Pathfinder SE Off-Road, along with a 5-speed auto transmission.
Other than its beefed-up off-road capabilities, this model is identical to the SE in terms of equipment. A trip computer with compass and temperature display, power features, including a power driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, 6-CD changer, cruise control with controls on the steering wheel, leather trim, and intermittent front and rear wipers are also standard. ABS, fog lights, traction and stability control, and dual front and side airbags are some of the safety features. A roof rack with crossbar is standard, as is a tow hitch for towing up to 6000 pounds. Option packages add luxury to the rugged nature of the 2007 Pathfinder SE Off-Road, and include heated leather seats, power passenger's seat, DVD player, sunroof, and satellite radio.
