The 2007 Nissan Pathfinder S 4X4 is an on-demand four-wheel drive version of mid-size SUV.  The 4WD system features high and low gearing for better road performance in difficult situations.  Like the other Pathfinders, the 2007 S 4X4 has a 4.0-liter, 266-hp V6 and 5-speed automatic, with standard ABS brakes, traction and stability control, dual front-side airbags, a tire monitor, and skid plates.  Electronic brakeforce distribution is also included.
The 2007 Pathfinder S 4X4 has all the same features as its rear-wheel drive sibling, including power locks, windows, and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, a trip computer, roof rack, front and overhead consoles, and a reclining second row that splits 40/20/40.  The third row splits 50/50, expanding cargo room to 79 cubic feet.  The rear liftgate and rear window open independently of each other, and the cargo area features convenient tie-downs.  Options add on cargo mats and splash guards and curtain airbags for all three rows of seating.
