2006 Buick Lucerne CX Summary
The 2006 Buick Lucerne CX is brand new, replacing Buick's old stalwart, the Le Sabre. The full-size luxury sedan sports a snazzier style in Buick's attempt to woo younger buyers. The base model 2006 Lucerne CX is powered by a 3.8-liter, 197-hp V6 engine and 4-speed automatic. It rests on 16-inch alloy wheels, and comes standard with ABS brakes, dual front-side and side curtain airbags, a tire monitor, and traction control.
The CX is a well-equipped base model, offering OnStar, keyless entry, full power features including a 6-way power driver's seat, a security system, cruise control, compass and tachometer, CD player, and wood interior trim. The cabin seats five, and there is an armrest/trunk pass-through in the back seat. Options add on a CD-changer with MP3 playback, remote start, parking sesnors, power passenger seat, heated seats, a sunroof, memory settings, and rain-sensing wipers. Leather seats are not available. QuietTuning helps reduce road noise in the cabin, and owners of the 2006 Lucerne CX say it is a quiet, smooth, and easy ride. They also like the roomy interior.
