2007 Pontiac Torrent Base

The 2007 Pontiac Torrent FWD is a front-wheel drive crossover SUV with two rows of seating.  Both rows slide forward and back, to accommodate either more legroom or more cargo room.  The back row folds to expand the trunk space to 72 cubic feet, and the front passenger seat also folds flat.  The 2007 Torrent FWD is powered by a 3.4-liter, 185-hp V6 engine and 5-speed auto tran.  ABS brakes and traction control are standard, and StabiliTrak is newly standard this year.  Other new safety features are a tire monitor and rollover sensor.  Dual front-side airbags, foglights, daytime running lights, and a security system are also included.
The 2007 Torrent FWD comes with power windows, locks, and mirrors, a trip computer, air conditioning, and a CD player with MP3 input.  Cupholders are available front and rear.  There is a roof rack, rear spoiler, and manual liftgate.  Option packages add a sunroof and upgraded audio (Sun and Sound), remote start, power driver's seat, and cruise control (Preferred), and heated leather seats (Premium).  Stand-alones include a DVD player, satellite radio, navigation system, and 17-inch chrome wheels.  Great legroom and comfort are the positives, while bad cupholder location is a negative.
