[Edit] The Ford Ranger XLT trim comes with a similar list of standard equipment to that of the Sport trim. At this stage, items like a CD player and air conditioning become standard. The XLT is one of just two Ranger trims where buyers are able to opt for the longer seven-foot bed.
There are eight XLT variations, allowing shoppers considerable variety to meet their personal truck needs. Four Regular Cab versions are offered, including the four-cylinder-powered 2WD, with the long or short bed, and the 3.0L V6-powered 4WD, again with both beds. The Extended Cab body offers the same choice, but the 4WD model will house the 4.0 liter V-6. The 2WD Super Cab is powered by the 3.0 liter V-6, while the 4WD Super Cab gets the 4.0 liter unit.
