2007 Toyota Sienna 4 Dr XLE Summary
The 2007 Toyota Sienna offers two features which no other minivan can match: 260+ horsepower and AWD. A more powerful engine has been added for this year, and all models are now satellite (radio)-ready. While the CE and LE Sienna trims are similarly equipped and both priced in the mid-$20,000 range. The upgrade to the XLE model brings a significant price jump, crossing the $30,000 threshold, but the abundance of upgrades should help explain this increase.
Standard features on the XLE include a power rear lift gate, power sliding doors, tri-zone climate control, automatic headlights, power front seats, and wood trim. This is added to the keyless entry, cruise control, CD changer, and full power accessories found on the lower trim levels. The XLE is available with a DVD-based navigation system, which includes Bluetooth and a rear backup camera. Leather trim, a JBL audio upgrade, and a rear seat DVD entertainment system are also offered.
In addition to being a comfortable and well-appointed family vehicle, the Sienna is also powerful. It has now been fitted with a 3.5 liter V-6, which produces 266 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque. The Sienna can pull 3500 pounds, and all trims are supplied with a special tow preparation kit (including a heavy-duty radiator, 150-amp alternator and power steering oil cooler). Despite the extra power, the 2WD Sienna is still fairly efficient, with an EPA estimate of 19/25 mpg.
