2007 Nissan Versa S Hatchback Summary
Nissan's new sporty Versa hatchback looks small, but its interior layout and cargo configurations makes it a versatile little hauler. The 2007 Versa S is the base model, featuring a 1.8-liter, DOHC 4-cylinder engine that gets 122-hp. It comes standard with a 6-speed manual, with a 4-speed auto option. Power windows, locks, and mirrors, air conditioning, and intermittent wipers are all standard, as are front and side airbags.
Options add on a rear spoiler, ABS brakes, and keyless entry. Seating four, the rear seats feature lots of legroom and split 60/40 to lengthen the small trunk space. Owners love the headroom that accommodates tall people, and the 30/35 gas mileage is a great money-saver. They do wish more options and features were offered, such as cruise control, which is not available on the S trim.
