2007 Chrysler Pacifica 4 Dr Limited AWD Summary
The Chrysler Pacifica is a unique minivan-based SUV, offering more interior room and easier cabin access than many of its crossover competitors. Crysler has worked steadily to improve their first SUV since its 2004 release. This year, a new engine and transmission has been added to most models, and the front end receives a minor styling refresh. Chrysler had made safety items like side curtain airbags and stability control standard for 2007, and a new CD audio system now offers MP3 compatibility.
The Limited package is Chrysler's most upscale trim, furnishing the already well-equipped Pacifica with many additional luxury and convenience features. All models offer air conditioning, keyless entry, full power accessories including the front seats, and steering wheel-mounted controls. The Limited's upgrades include heated leather seats, wood trim, a rear seat DVD entertainment system, Homelink, a power lift gate, and dual zone automatic climate control.
The new 4.0 liter V-6 provides the mid-size Pacifica with 255 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. All 4.0 liter models also get a six speed automatic transmission. The SUV's low stance offers better handling than many competitors, and AWD provides some additonal security. For travel needs, the Pacifica will tow 3500 pounds and offer 80 cubic feet for cargo (with the third row of seating).
