2007 Chrysler Pacifica 4 Dr Touring Signature Series AWD Summary
The 2007 Chrysler Pacifica enters its fourth year of production with series of minor updates. The SUV's front end has been restyled, which is most noticeable with the headlight design. A new engine and transmission are added to all models except the base, and Chrysler now includes side curtain air bags and stability control on the list of standard safety features.
The Pacifica is a well-appointed mid-size SUV, and the Touring trim includes several additional standard features. Every Pacifica gets full power accessories, keyless entry, power front seats, air conditioning, a new CD audio system with MP3 compatibility. The Touring models add dual zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a new seating figuration (3 rows/6 passenger), and the Homelink system. Xenon headlights, an audio upgrade, and rear seat DVD entertainment are all optional with this trim.
This year, five of the six Pacifica models are fitted with a new 4.0 liter V-6. This power plant generates 255 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque, and it is mated with a six speed automatic transmission, which is also new. Adding AWD does not reduce fuel economy: the EPA remains at 16/24 mpg.
