The Base S60 is powered by a 2.4 liter inline five, which generates 168 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and a five-speed automatic is optional. Base standard features include air conditioning, an interior air filter, cruise control, cloth upholstery, heated power mirrors, full power accessories and remote keyless entry. The Base is eligible for a Premium Package, which adds leather upholstery, an eight-way power driver seat, a power sunroof, a CD player and faux wood trim.
