[Edit] The 2005 model year brought a late-cycle styling refresh, highlighted by new headlight, taillight, grille, and wheel designs. These would be the last significant changes until a full redesign for 2007.
The SE trim finishes the mid-size family sedan with a sport-focused affect. Exclusive features on the SE include special interior fabric and trim, a rear spoiler, fog lamps, a special grille and 17-inch wheels. All of the standard items on the lower trim levels are also included here, like keyless entry,a power driver's seat, full power accessories and cruise control.
The SE also gets a sport-tuned suspension system, which combined with the optional V-6 engine, offers the best driving experience of any Camry. The 3.3 liter DOHC engine delivers 225 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque An electronically controlled five speed automatic transmission is paired with all V-6s. The Camry's EPA estimate slips to 21/29 mpg with the larger engine.
