2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V8 4WD

This is the most well-equipped SR5 4Runner, complete with four wheel drive and the potent V-8 power plant. SR5 is the lowest trim level in the 4Runner lineup, but a long list of standard features is included. The SR5 includes cruise control, keyless entry, a CD audio system, full power accessories, running boards, automatic climate control, and a trip computer.
For 2006, all 4Runners received several exterior styling revisions, which included a redesigned bumper, new grille, and different head and tail lamps.
On this specific model, the engine has been upgraded to a 4.7 liter DOHC V-8, which puts out 260 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque.
The VVT-i engine is teamed with a five speed automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels. The V-8 towing capacity is a considerable increase over the V-6, at 7300 pounds. The fuel economy for models with this engine/drive train combination is the lowest of all 4Runners, at 15/18 mpg.
