1993 Audi 90 4 Dr S Sedan Summary
The new 1993 Audi 90 took the place of the Audi 80 and got a new engine from the Audi 100. The 1993 Audi S base sedan featured a pretty powerful 2.8-liter, 172-hp V6 and 5-speed manual transmission. It was also a little bit longer this year, providing a touch more leg room in the back. New in 1993 were fold-down rear seats for more trunk capacity.
Standard features on the 1993 90 S include 4-wheel ABS, a driver's front airbag, a security system, power-adjustable driver's seat, heated mirrors, cruise control, fog lights, and rear defrost. There was little room left for options, but you could add on heated seats, a sunroof, or a 4-speed auto tran. Owners especially like the heated seat option, but they also give high marks to the precise handling and cornering of the 90 S and its general drive performance. It is comfortable and quiet inside. Low marks go to expensive repairs, some electrical problems, and still not enough legroom in the back.
