2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Summary

The Limited did not limit its buyers' choices, as they could select the standard 235-horsepower V8 or upgrade to the multi-displacement 330-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V8. That engine kicks into fuel-saver mode in cruising situations by shutting off four of the cylinders for efficiency.
Buyers of the AWD Limited could opt for front and rear limited-slip differentials, but some other goodies, such as an antiskid system, heated front seats, and power-adjustable pedals, were standard stuff on all Limiteds.
In their reviews owners complained about the gas mileage, although they knew what they were getting into with this SUV. In general there was significant satisfaction, with several mentions of spousal sparring over who got to drive the Grand Cherokee more.
