“It's a good kind of cheep car. (Insurance is a bit pricey because they are so new.) Has an over all good performance. Can do speeds well and turns are...

The Chrysler PT Cruiser is now in its third year of production, and the STD, Touring, and Limited models are carried over from 2002. A new more powerful engine is now available, but it can only be had with the GT or the Dream Cruiser.
The PT Cruiser Limited edition is actually the third of five trim tiers, with respect to price. Both the Dream Cruiser and GT cost significantly more.
The three lower models are powered by a 2.4 liter DOHC inline four, generating 150 horsepower and 162 pound-feet or torque. A four-speed automatic is optional and a five-speed manual transmission comes standard.
The Limited comes equipped with full power accessories, leather upholstery, an anti-theft system, fog lamps, keyless entry, chrome wheels, a lighted entry system, air conditioning, a CD/cassette sound system and cruise control.
The PT Cruiser's versatile interior continues to be a favorite feature. Chrysler claims 26 possible configurations for seating and storage. The low fuel economy for a 3000-pound compact car is a common owner concern.
