[Edit] The M-class is Mercedes-Benz's entry into the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) market.  Of course, like other Mercedes-Benz cars, this is not your run-of-the-mill SUV.  It is an upmarket luxury vehicle with upgraded suspension, interior and convenience features, and the trademark smooth ride.
