BMW 750 History

The BMW 750 is the most popular vehicle in the German auto maker's famed 7-series lineup. Often praised as "the best-driving luxury sedan in the world," the 7-series cars are noted for their V8 engines, roomy interiors and attention to detail that combine the best features of sports and luxury cars. As the company's flagship car, 7-series models - including the 750 - are only available as sedans.

With prices for new vehicles above the $70,000, the 750 is not considered an entry-level luxury sedan, and most BMW drivers spend some time in a 3- or 5-series car before graduating to the 750. In North America, the car is available in two trims: the standard 750i and the 750Li, which features a wheelbase more than five inches longer than the 750i.
