BMW 745 History

Sold in the U.S. between 2002 and 2005, the BMW 745 was renamed the 750 with the 2006 model year when a larger, V8 engine was installed. Before that, however, the 745 was the entry level car for BMW's flagship 7-series in the U.S.

Throughout it's life, the 745 may have been BMW's more controversial cars. A redesign in the 2005 model year had purists complaining about the "chunky" style, but no one could argue that the car didn't handle and perform the way a BMW should.
