History of the BMW 335

[Edit] Updated with a new, 300-horsepower inline-six engine, the 2007 BMW 335i is capable of going from zero to 60 in 5.3 seconds. The car comes standard with a six-speed manual and offers a six-speed Steptronic automatic transmission as an option.

The 2007 335 was scheduled to arrive in U.S. showrooms on Sept. 1, and early reviews were upbeat. Professional test drivers warned that the gearbox was "notchy," but liked the "oodles of torque" offered by the vehicle.

Inside the cabin, it's "pay for play," but BMW doesn't spare expense on even standard models. Bluetooth and iDrive-based navigation are optional, and portable MP3 players play easily through the 335's stereo.
