Honda Accord History

The word "accord" means "to bring into agreement," and it seems that many people agree on the Honda Accord's superiority over comparable midsize sedans. First produced in 1976 as a low-fuel-requiring alternative to the larger gas guzzlers of the day, the Accord has remained a popular vehicle in the United States and abroad.

It has been listed as one of "Car and Driver's" top ten automobiles 19 times since its introduction, and the quality and reliability of this vehicle show no signs of abating.
