[Edit] Besides some exterior and interior updates, the biggest change for the Buick LaCrosse in 2008 came in the introduction of the Super trim, which sports a 5.3 L, 300 hp V8 engine. The Super goes from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds. With the addition of this high-powered variation, the LaCrosse now has 4 trims.
The other 3 trims sport V6 engines and all 4 trims have 4 speed automatic transmission. Gas mileage generally runs from 20 mpg in the city to 29 on the highway. All 4 trims have 4 doors and seat 5-6 passengers.
Overall, the 2008 Buick LaCrosse looks like a good buy for the older crowd with its elegant design and capable powertrain selection. In addition, the list of standard features looks relatively comprehensive. This new model should hit stores in late 2007.
