2006 Mercedes-Benz E320

A single model was available in the Mercedes-Benz E320 lineup for 2006. That would be the CDI turbodiesel sedan, which was powered by a fuel-efficient, 3.2-liter CDI (common-rail direct injection) turbocharged diesel engine that produced 201 horsepower. The diesel was not only super-clean, meeting stringent European emissions standards, but also pushed the E320 from 0 to 60 faster than models equipped with the standard 3.2-liter internal combustion engines.

Standard features for the E320 CDI sedan included a five-speed automatic transmission equipped with the Touch Shift feature, which enabled the driver to upshift and downshift by nudging the shift lever left or right. Other features included anti-lock brakes, traction control, and the Electronic Stability Programming (ESP) anti-skid system.

The 2006 E320 CDI sedan was also equipped with leather seats with power adjustment in the front, a multi-zone automatic climate control system, dual front and side airbags, power windows, power exterior mirrors, cruise control, and an AM/FM audio system with a CD player.
