Its small but relatively powerful engines (2.2-liter Ecotec I4 rated at 143 horsepower, or a 2.4-liter Ecotec I4 rated at 178 horsepower) provide pep in a car with ample headroom and cargo space. The name actually stands for "Heritage High Roof," so it seems as though Chevy is not only aware but proud of the comfort it provides.
The 2006 edition was the first release of this model, yet it drew many of its features from the Cobalt, making for few first-year woes. The car's pricing starts at $15,990, but can quickly edge toward $20,000 with a stronger engine, integrated MP3 player, and a Pioneer sound system.
