The new Outlander brings some impressive green technology to the SUV world. Foremost, it is a Partial Zero Emissions Vehcicle with a serious catalytic converter that keeps greenhouse gases from escaping to harm the environment.
It's also a safe vehicle, thanks to standard safety equipment ranging from ABS and skid control to air bags and a strong frame. And, of course, it's also available in four-wheel drive (although the base model is not).
All Outlander trims come a V6 engine mated to a 6-speed Sportronic auto-manual transmission. A third-row stowing jumpseat is available as an option.
