The 2002 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor comes as a sporty sedan or a sporty hatchback this year. Each has a 2.3 liter engine that delivers 190 ponies and can get to 60 mph in about 7.5 seconds.
Each '02 Benz C230 looks really cool from the side, with its stylish, racy lines, and of course, the 3-point Mercedes star and brilliant grill are undeniable classics. And, those who opted for the panoramic sunroof that give the whole thing a bit of a convertible feel are pretty happy with it.
A couple complaints include the lack of overall power and the idea that the five-speed auto transmission doesn't work real well with the supercharger engine. Then, too, there's the price, but that's another story.
