If you want power, look no further than the 2002 Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG!
Its 3.2 liter, V6, 349-horsepower engine is to die for. Some say they can get it to go 0-60 in 4.7 seconds; others say the tires just rip up the road and they love it all. But, as with most power cars, there's a drawback - at least today. The '02 Benz AMG just guzzles gas. But, hey, if you like the feeling of being pushed back into your seat while you accelerate, this is THE car.
The looks are sleek and powerful, with a lower grill and fog lights, but for some, it's a puny looking car four-door car - until they see it move. AMG is the in-house tuning division at Mercedes and is supposed to expand the performance of all lines, They achieved it with this - and with their design of a belt-driven supercharger, between two of the cylinders.
It's a rear wheel drive vehicle that power-mongering owners love. The odd part though is that it's standard with a five-speed automatic transmission, which doesn't really seem in keeping with a high performance, fun-to-drive car.
