The TL comes in 6 trims: 5-speed automatic with or without navigation, 6-speed manual, 6-speed manual with navigation, 6-speed manual with performance tires, and 6-speed manual with both navigation and performance tires. The engine in the 6-speed manual trims now adjusts to reduce the effects of torque steering.
Otherwise, this midsize luxury sedan maintains the same general features from 2005. All 6 trims have a 3.2-liter, 258-hp V6 engine. The 5-speed trims use an automatic transmission, while the 6-speed trims use a manual. Gas consumption comes out to 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. In addition, this model has 4 doors and seats 5. Standard features include sunroof, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, leather seats, power seats, a CD player, ABS brakes, traction control, and stability control.
Overall, owners like pretty much everything about the 2006 Acura TL. The style, performance, gas mileage, and handling all receive high marks.
