[Edit] The Toyota Highlander saw a number of changes for 2007. Side airbags now came standard. The exterior got a number of tweaks, including chrome door handles, chrome rear license plate garnish, color-keyed mudguards, fog lights, chrome exhaust tip, and 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels. The interior also got a few more features, including an upgraded stero system.
The 2007 Toyota Highlander is available in three trims, the Standard, the Sport, and the Limited. All are available with 4WD and 2WD. The 2.4-liter inline-4 comes standard, with 160 horsepower. The 3.3-liter, 230 horsepower V6 is optional on the base Highlander and standard on the Limited and the Sport. With the Sport, buyers also got sport-tuned suspension. Fuel economy is about 20/24 mpg. The 2006 Highlander is available as a five-passenger or seven-passenger vehicle via an optional third-row seat.
