CarGurus' 2005 BMW M3 Review

A race-tuned transmission will take some getting used to and some drivers find the 2005 BMW M3 uncomfortable at first, but taking time to get used to BMW's high performance version of its popular 3-series is well worth it. As one reviewer put it, "the M3 is one of the finest and most fun high-performance cars on the market."

Now in its fourth generation and expected to undergo an update at some point in the 2007 model year, the M3 is a "race car masquerading as a street car." The car isn't as luxurious and its exterior isn't as flashy as some of BMW's other offerings, but it is the perfect car if you want to feel like a race car driver on your daily commute.
