With a 225-horsepower, inline, six-cylinder engine, the 2003 BMW 330 is designed to "propel the car like a rocket -- and tuned to sound like one too." While the 330 is technically an "entry level" sports sedan, avid drivers don't feel short changed once they feel the car's ability to handle curves and eat pavement.
The car is not flawless: reviewers are generally quick to note that the accent on performance means some cost cutting in the car's interior, and the 2003 predated a lengthening of the interior space by 2.2 inches, which means a cramped rear seat and a sloped roof that robs passengers of headroom.
