CarGurus' 1995 BMW 325 Review

There were no major changes to the BMW 325 in the 1995 model year as BMW was already working on plans to give the car a new, 2.8 liter engine and rename it the 328 in 1996. Some owners, however, questioned what was wrong with the precision engineered, 2.5 liter, six cylinder engine available in the 1995 325.

That engine delivered 189 horsepower and propelled the 325 from zero to 60 in 7.8 seconds. It also offered 181 ft-lbs of torque, making the 325 one of the better handling cars in the 3-Series line up.

"Reliability has been outstanding," said a driver who has owned his 325 for 11 years. Another praised the "buttery smooth" inline six engine. And yet another noted the car was adept at handling curves. "The more curves, the more fun," she wrote.
