CarGurus' 2006 BMW 323 Review
The BMW 323 was all-new in 2006 and sold in Canada, replacing the BMW 320 as the entry level, 3-Series car in that market. The car was built on the E90 platform and featured a detuned 2.5 liter gasoline-injected inline-six producing 177 horsepower.
The American counterpart of the 323 remained the BMW 325 in the 2006 model year. The 323i had a "pleasurable" six-speed manual as standard equipment, as well as most of the other perks 3-Series drivers have become accustomed to.
Canadian drivers liked the "beautifully designed" interior and the convenient, back-lit controls. While the car was not large, impeding some bigger drivers, it handled the way a 3-Series vehicle should.
